The Institute of Heating and Air Conditioning Industries (IHACI) is a nonprofit trade association dedicated to the HVAC/R/SM industry since 1948. Comprised of contractors, manufacturers, distributors, utilities, and related businesses, IHACI focuses on education, professional development, and industry advancement. IHACI’s Annual HVAC/R/SM Performance Contracting Product and Equipment Trade Show is held in early November at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California.
IHACI offers comprehensive technical training courses and collaborates closely with California Utilities to host both webinar and in-person training classes at no cost to HVAC industry professionals. These training programs are designed to empower California's HVAC workforce, ensuring they remain code compliant, adhere to Title 24 energy regulations, and follow industry best practices.
Registration for all education and training classes must be completed directly on the following utility companies’ websites: Southern California Gas Company, Southern California Edison, Pacific Gas and Electric. Please use the Registration links under the Education and Training tab to register. IHACI does not host any classes or training at the IHACI office.
